CATHEDRAL IN THE NIGHT, a collaborative ministry of Pittsfield congregations beginning Sunday, Sept. 21st at 2:00pm Front Lawn—St. Joseph’s Church, North St., Pittsfield
A community & common meal in the radical tradition of Jesus + Worship & Justice + Fellowship & Food
All are welcome!!!
This fall the downtown community of Pittsfield is beginning an ecumenical outdoor worship service, Cathedral in the Night. The service will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 2pm beginning on Sept. 21st and center around an Agape meal. Cathedral in the Night was founded by a ministry of the local community and congregations. We are looking forward tot his service being a clear sign of our work as the Body of Christ throughout the Berkshires. We are currently looking to grow our base of ministry partners for Cathedral in the Night and would love to have you join us for worship.
Expectations of Ministry Partners:
Ministry partners are encouraged to prepare and bring a meal to Cathedral in the Night. Food is needed for 80-100 people
Serving-your biggest gift is not the food but YOU-it is relationships that transform our lives.
Other ways to connect: Financially-any and all donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and will go to helping sustain Cathedral in the Night ministries. Coffee Hour—join us each week for coffee and conversation. It’s a great chance to build relationships and relax. Veterans—we will be launching a new program for Veterans. We will have a meal each week and then explore different opportunities for growth and support.
