Giving Tree Update

giving treeThank you for participating in this years Giving Tree gift giving.

Please return your wrapped gift(s) by December 6th, at the very latest—they will be sorted for distribution on Dec. 9th. The gift tags must be firmly attached to the outside of the wrapped gift.

If you would like to participate in gift giving but are unable to or would rather not do the shopping, please take a tag from the tree, put it in a white envelope marked “Giving Tree”, and put in a monetary gift to cover the cost of the item.  We have volunteers willing to do the shopping for you!! Put your envelope in the weekend collection basket at Mass and our
volunteers will be contacted.

Thank you.

A message from Bishop Rozanski…

Paris image“This weekend I ask Catholics throughout western Massachusetts to offer prayers for the people of Paris and France, who sadly once again find themselves the victims of senseless violence. Especially during this month dedicated to remembering our faithful departed, we add to those intentions the victims of Friday night’s attacks. May God grant them eternal rest, as well as comfort  their families and loved ones.

Let our prayers also be for a true and enduring peace among people of all faith traditions. Let us recommit ourselves to a better dialogue and understanding among people of all religions, in the hope that this will be the most enduring response to such misguided acts of terror.”
