AS A CATHOLIC CHRISTIANS WE ARE CALLED TO BE GOOD STEWARDS SHARING OUR TIME, TALENT AND TREASURE, TO DO GOOD WORK OF THE CHURCH. Our good deeds and acts of mercy have a ripping effect in our area. Often we do not know how one kind act benefits another.
Beginning this week and lasting until November of this year, our parish will be collecting your Acts of Mercy via cards and social media. These acts will be counted and recorded towards the Million Acts of Mercy Facebook page for Berkshire County.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- Complete Act of Mercy
- Record Act of Mercy on a slip of paper, card (provided in boxes by the church doors), or sticky note and return to the church in the collection basket so the act of Mercy can be counted or use social media, send your act of Mercy in a message to the St. Mark’s Facebook page.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I DO THIS?:
Every day. No act of Mercy is too small or too big. Every single act should be recorded. Make a list and have some fun doing unto others.
